Amanda F. Quam

Amanda Fleetwood Moore-Quam passed peacefully Wednesday evening at her home in the company of close family. Born in Tulsa, OK in 1927, she was the daughter of Carlisle Alan and Nell Morgan Fleetwood and the twin sister of Carlisle M. Fleetwood, both later residents of Oklahoma City, OK. Amanda resided in Tulsa with her husband Thomas Louis Moore, Jr. and 3 children until 1967 when they moved to Houston where she was a member of The Junior League. She was predeceased in 1983 by her husband Tom and was a widow for 10 years. Amanda married again in 1992 to Louis Joseph Quam for 22 wonderful years until his passing in 2014. In her later years she was happy and fulfilled enjoying her friends, Bridge, Bingo and not cooking! She is survived by her sons, Thomas Louis Moore III and wife Mary, Carlisle Constantin Moore and wife Brenda, and her daughter Amanda Moore Deal as well as her Grandchildren: Dr. Sarah Rivers Deal, Sam Moore, the twins - Matthew Moore and Grace Laird, Rachel and Michelle Moore, and her great Grandchildren: Sam and Max Moore, Emma and Brady Moore, Audrey Horn, and Paige Laird. Amanda cherished her family and was very proud of them. The family and our mother are grateful for the daily loving care provided by Doris Botor, Dominique Clark, Shay Steward, and Mayen Lachica during the last three years of her life. These ladies were very special women and became an integral part of our family.
