Amie Christine Allen

As a child, Amie lived in Madrid, Spain for four years before returning to Texas. Amie attended and graduated high school from Cy Fair in Cypress, Texas. She attended beauty school and received her license to become a hairdresser. She married Eric Wayne Allen and they were married for nine years. They had a son named Jeffrey Wayne Allen who is 26 years old and a graduate of The University of Houston and is married to Christy Allen. Amie always had a strong faith and belief in Jesus, our Lord and Savior. She attended the services at Brighton when the minister came to the facility. She previously attended Second Baptist Church at Voss and Woodway. Amie became ill at an early age with Spinal Muscular Atrophy. She always kept her faith in God and never complained about her disease. She was a light for everyone always being cheerful with a big smile on her face.

Amie is survived by her son Jeffrey and his wife Christy, her mother Linda Roe and husband Benny, her father Johnny Peden and wife Sheila, her brother Brad Hinkle, sister Lezlie Roe, and brother Tommy Roe. Amie will be at rest at Cook Walden/Capital Parks Cemetery in Pflugerville, Texas
