She attended West University Elementary, Pershing Junior High School and graduated from San Jacinto High School in 1951. She worked for Harris County Judge David Patronella and retired in 1996.
She was preceded in death by her parents Thelma and Weldon “Buster” Howard, her brother James Allen Howard, Larry L. Lundstedt, and Clifton Neeley, Sr.
She is survived by her sister Welda Armour (John), brother Gene Howard, her children: LaDonna Lee Carnifax (Jim), Lisa Lynn Lundstedt (Kevin Kane), grandchildren: LaShelle Nelson (Austin), Anya Kane, Lia Kane and great-grandson Hayden Nelson.
