Ana Bertha Vega

Ana Bertha Vega, age 94, of Houston TX, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, March 3, 2022. Ana was born July 13, 1927. She was married to Johnny R. Vega, on December 3, 1950 and together they had 3 children Annie V. Garcia, Delia V. Hobbs and Johnny Vega Jr.. Ana had a career at St. Joseph Hospital for almost 30 years. She enjoyed spending time with her family, making Easter baskets, and buying Christmas presents for her grandchildren starting in the month of July.

She leaves behind to cherish her memories her children Annie V. Garcia, Delia V. Hobbs, and Johnny Vega Jr.; 13 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren; 12 great-great grandchildren; and brother Gilbert Botello.

A special thank you to Pastor Joel Botello, to all the pallbearers, to the ones who put the special pictures and songs together, to the ones who prepared food and to the ones who brought flowers.

Serving as pallbearers are Jimmy Hobbs, Thomas Hobbs, Johnny Vega III, Ruben Vega, Isareal Ortiz and Jake Ortiz.

A visitation for Ana will be held Saturday, March 19, 2022 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas 77039. A funeral service will follow Saturday, March 19, 2022 at 10:00 AM. The Burial will take place on Saturday, March 19, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Brookside Memorial Park.
