

Taso is survived by his wife, Frances; his children, George, Angelique, Anthony, and Stephen; his siblings Costas, Maria, Voula, Alexandra and Fotis in Greece.
Taso was born on August 19, 1946, in Exohiko, Messenias to Georgios and Angeliki Gallos. He married Frances on September 26, 1970. After arriving in the U.S. in 1968, Taso worked as a house painter for 44 years. Taso and Frances were blessed with four children and six grandchildren.
His children remember him as a strong, loving father who instilled in them a strong work ethic and love for family.
Taso was passionate about gardening, soccer, and politics and often indulged in passionate debate. He was a devout member of the Greek Orthodox church and often volunteered for Greek festivals and renovation projects.
On Saturday November 30th we will be celebrating Taso’s life. The viewing begins at 9 am at the Chapel of Eternal Peace at Forest Park. Followed by the 11am funeral mass at St. Basil The Great Greek Orthodox Church. The ceremony will remain private for members of his family.
