Brother Andre, always going to remember all the jokes we shared growing up. From kids to fathers I think I’ll always be “Horace Pete”
You never let me live that down. Going to miss seeing you around. God bless you brother and may your kids know how great their father is.
See you on the other side.

There are just no words to describe this moment for our families. To say that I am shocked or sad doesn’t even begin to describe the loss that is felt, and in the deepest possible level. Andre was such a wonderful father to our babies, and they absolutely adore him... I am so thankful for the time that we had with him, and all of the wonderful memories that will be kept alive in our hearts, our stories, and our memories. We will honor and cherish his memory by living in a way that makes him proud, and I hope that our families can find comfort in his children, as they are the very best part of him. I see him everyday in their eyes.

To live in hearts we leave behind is not to die. -Thomas Campbell
Though it has been a long time passed, you have lived within my heart since the day I first met you. You carried a kindness in your heart that is not easy to see to in people. But it was easy to see in you. I am thankful for the memories and the time we had in life. You taught me so many things like how to hit a golf ball. And as painful I thought it was at that time, you taught me to endure watching golf all day long. Something I now enjoy doing because of you. I can't pick up a club without thinking about you. You taught me how to love, what to look for and you set my bar high. I cherish the simple times we had just walking onto the course to play a few holes and our good talks we had while fishing or sitting on the tailgate of your truck. I can still see your big smile and hear the strum of your guitar. I am sad to lose you again but I know your being held by the Lord now. Rest with His angels and our loved ones we lost before. I will always miss you.
Do not sorrow, for the joy of the Lord is your strength. Nehemiah 8:10
My condolences to the Anderson family. I am so sorry for the loss of your son and your brother. Andre's most admirable feature was the strength of his love for each of you. I am holding you close in my thoughts and will pray for Andre, his family, his friends and for you. With deepest sympathy and love, Meagan

I'm so sorry for your loss. Andre was a light and the world seems a little bit darker without him. I don't have many memories of our childhood together because he was a bit older than me, but I do remember how kind he was to me when I moved to Texas 7 years ago. I didn't really have friends, was going through a bad breakup, and I felt really lost. He was always checking on me, sending me messages, and asking me to come visit. He just cared and didn't expect anything in return. He really helped me during that time and I'll never forget that. He was kind, supportive, and a truly wonderful cousin.

I used to live next door to Andre on Legend hill. We were friends for awhile and used to hang out regularly. I will always have fond and great memories of Andre, and I’m terribly sorry for your loss. He had a wonderful sense of humor and a great smile, and was always able to brighten your day no matter how bad things were going. I remember learning several awesome cooking tricks he showed me in the few years that I knew him. I spoke to him no more than a month or two ago over the phone, just briefly, and had promised that I would get in touch, yet never had that chance to. It was a real shock to me and my ex-wife to learn of his untimely passing. He will be so truly missed by many who knew him. Barron and Sophie were good friends to my kids Darren and Myrra Jean, and I know they will miss Andre greatly as well. as he had on occasion had them over to hang out with his kids, and they were quite fond of Andre and many other members of his family, including his younger sister and mom and dad. I do not know that I still have any photos of him, but I will look for any I may have and forward them if I find any. I pray that time will heal the grief of those he leaves behind, and that god above takes him under his care in eternal life.

Praying for your family Andre, may His grace fill them with the best memories and ease their pain. I'm sorry we never got to have that cook off back in the day, you probably would have won anyway. I always enjoyed talking about cooking with you, your face would light up and I could see your happiness and confidence overflowing. Thank you for being a friend. God bless you and yours.

Andre,
My Nephew/My Buddy,
He was by far one of the best Chef's in the City Houston. Every chance my Wife and I had we would eat at the places that He cook at. The food was always the Best.
Andre and I would talk for hours at times and He loved his kids with a passion. Always talk about them and how he loved to spend time with them. We always talked about going fishing. That is by far something he loved to do! Also because he knew that I am a musician we talked about playing the guitar. He really like to play.
The last thing He spoke to me about which was two days before he went on to be with the Lord. Was my Father, his Grandfather! He said to me that morning that we learned about my father’s passing! He said that he had lost his hero and I told him that my father was my hero as well.
I will miss you My Nephew/My Buddy! Andre! Rest In Peace! I love you!
Your uncle, Ruben!

Andre was a high school classmate who later became a college friend. We formed a bond while living in San Marcos. He and I spent plenty of time playing golf and enjoying that short period of new-found freedom. Andre was even present the night that I met my wife.
After school, we occasionally talked about our lives, children and our fond memories of the times we shared. His passion for the things that he loved in life is still inspiring. He will be greatly missed.
