Andrea was born September 27, 1947 in Houston, Texas to the parents of Maxie Rose Crum Hudson and Ray Nelson. She is survived by two siblings, Brenda Kay Ezell and Layne Keelin. She married William E. Shaddock and later divorced.
Andrea loved to garden, read and enjoy playing tennis in the Texas sun. She was a friend to pet dogs and even rabbits in her day. She was a devoted mother of two children, William Shaddock and Dean Shaddock. Her granddaughter is Josephine Elizabeth Lynch-Shaddock born to Sarah Lynch-Shaddock and Dean.
Andrea worked as an entrepreneur in commercial real-estate and residential constructions. She was the owner and founder of Andrea Pools. She will be remembered for her devotion to her family and community building with neighbors and friends.
