

Andrea Mary Stottrup Thomsen was called to eternal rest on Saturday July 4, 2015. Andrea was born in Houston on April 16, 1991. She is the daughter of Henrik and Ghislaine Thomsen, and the sister of Stephanie and Elizabeth Thomsen, all of Houston.
Andrea was a shining star from the moment she was born. Her life’s passion was to care for children in need, and to someday open a special orphanage for children, with nature, woods, wild flowers, horses, and where she would provide love guidance and happiness. She wanted to create a safe haven for “her children”. She had a true gift from God that will continue to shine through Eternity.
Predeceased by her beloved grandparents, Luce “Pika” Salles and Lucien Salles, of Nice, France; Mary Hopkins Thomsen , of England, and Knud Stottrup Thomsen, of Denmark.
She is survived by her Aunt Anna Thomsen Holliday, and husband Harold, of Houston; Uncle, Aunt and Cousins, Rudy and Annie Salles and Jennifer, Christophe and Emma Barbosa, of Nice, France; Aunt Danielle Casagrande, Husband Georges, and cousins Yann and Jean-Christophe of Nice, France; Aunts, Vibbike Campion, Ellen Stottrup Als, Eva Stottrup Thomsen, Alice Stottrup, along with their spouses, all from Denmark; Cousins, Christopher, Thomas, Albert, Anton, Victor, Emma, Peter, Gustav, Nancy and Vigo, from Denmark; Aunt Marianne Stottrup Treelor, and her husband Paul, of Melbourne, Australia; Uncle Gilles Aouis, and cousin Yan of Nice, France; Godparent, Sylviane Sydney Kitchen, and her Husband James, of La Marque and Poul Mikkelsen, and his wife Christie, of Las Vegas, NV. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
A Celebration of her Life will take place on Friday, July 10, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. at Christ the Servant Lutheran Church, 2400 Wilcrest Road, Houston.
Following the service, at 2:00 P.M., refreshments and food will be served at Last Concert Café, a place where she loved to dance and be free, 1403 Nance Street, Houston 77002 – (713)226-8563.
