She served in the Royal Canadian Navy and was fluent in French. Betty lived in London and attended the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II.
She lived in OK, CO, NV, CA, IL and LA before settling in Houston.
Betty was a member of the Canadian Club of Houston, The Junior League of Houston, The Old Goats Society, and Daughters of the King.
She is survived by Tim, Robin and Margot, 4 grandchildren, extended family, and friends.
A memorial service will be Saturday, May 13th, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Christopher’s Episcopal Church, 1656 Blalock, Houston, TX 77080, with a reception to follow.
