

Andy Ferguson died on August 21, 2025 at the age of 101. He was born in Spokane, Washington, but his family relocated to Porterville, California where he was raised. He received a BS degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Oklahoma in 1947, and he did graduate work at both USC and UCLA in Southern California.
He was proud to have served in World War II in the 103rd Infantry Division in field artillery. After the war, he went to work for Fluor Corporation where he designed energy plants all over the world. In 1988 after he retired, Andy and his wife Marion settled in Kingwood, Texas where they were active in the First Presbyterian Church of Kingwood. He loved to socialize and play games, especially bridge and dominoes.
Andy was preceded in death by his brother Myron Ferguson, his wife Marion Ferguson and his son Eugene Cordell Ferguson. He was survived by his daughter Lisa Henninger (husband Robert and son Bryce); daughter Mona Rosenfeld (husband David and son Robert); granddaughter Rachel Ferguson; step-daughter Deb Currin (sons Brad Currin and Sean Currin); and his daughter-in-law Anna Crocker.
The family would especially like to thank Queen Johnson and all the caregivers at Compassitant Companion Care at Cypress Woods in Kingwood Texas for all their care and support the last few years.
The family will have a private memorial service to celebrate his life.
