

Andrew Stolz, born on December 27, 1941, in Austin, Texas, passed away peacefully on December 28, 2024, at the age of 83. A beloved, kind, and wise soul, Andrew left an indelible mark on all who knew him.
Andrew was a resident of Houston, Texas, where he shared a loving life with his wife, Martha. Their journey began when they met in college and married in 1962, settling into a fulfilling life in Houston. Together, they raised two children: their son Jason Stolz, who resides in Austin with his wife Alison, and their daughter Grace Stolz. Andrew was also the proud grandfather of Beth Stolz.
Educated at Holmes High School, class of 1957, Andrew was not only an athlete playing baseball for the Holmes Tigers but also a dedicated scholar. He attended the University of Texas, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in accounting in 1960. Andrew dedicated his career as a CPA at various companies in and around the Houston area before retiring in 2003.
Outside of his professional life, Andrew enjoyed fishing, hiking, and gardening. A community-oriented individual, Andrew was active on the board for his Homeowners Association and the welcome committee at St. Ann's. His guiding principle was always putting family first.

A visitation will be held on December 30, 2024, at Forest Park Westheimer Funeral Home and Cemetery, located at 12800 Westheimer Road, Houston, Texas, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm, and again from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm. A funeral service will follow at 3:00 pm at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society at cancer.org, reflecting Andrew's spirit of giving.
As we remember Andrew, we hold close the words of Psalm 46:1: "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble."
