Andy & Agnes Schroeter

Andrew (Andy) Gordon Schroeter, Jr., 97, passed on June 10, 2023, in Houston, TX.

Andy served in WWII, the Korean War and then went to The University of Texas in Austin, where he received the degree Bachelor of Business Administration. He then began a career at the Texaco Island in Port Arthur, TX, where he worked until his retirement in 1984. Andy married Agnes Marie Burch in 1949. Andy and Aggie loved going to The University of Texas football games and the son and daughter loved Austin, too, and both attended UT.

Andy was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew G Schroeter and Annamae Brady Schroeter, his sister, Charlotte Schroeter Simmons and his wife, Aggie. Surviving family members are: his brother William Schroeter, Beaumont, TX, son, Andrew G Schroeter, III (and wife, Pam), Galveston, TX, and daughter, Sue A Simpson (and husband, Pat), Waller, TX
