Angela De Montoya, 53, passed away on September 7, 2026. Born on February 6, 1973, Angela lived in Richmond, Texas, and will be remembered with deep respect and enduring affection by all who knew her.
Angela was a devoted and hard-working mother to her son, Anthony De Montoya, and an amazing grandmother to her most cherished grandson, Santana Angel De Montoya. Words cannot describe her love for her grandson; of all her accomplishments, she was never more happy than the moment she was first called “grandma.” Her steady loyalty, dependable presence, and selfless care were gifts she gave freely, anchoring her family with strength and tenderness.
A strong, independent woman with a resilient spirit, Angela met life with honesty and determination. She was also known for the light she carried into ordinary days—her warmth, her loving heart, and a playful silliness that could soften even the hardest moments. She was a great friend, and her friendships reflected the same steadfastness and sincerity that defined her life.
Angela’s artistic spirit shone through in her love of art and painting. She also enjoyed shopping and, most of all, spending time with her grandson—moments that brought her unmistakable joy and lasting peace.
