

Angelita Camero Garcia, age 85, of Houston, Texas, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, the 12th of March 2017 at approximately 12:08am after a 12-year battle with Alzheimer’s disease. A devoted and loving mother and grandmother, she will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. She was born on the 29th of September 1931 in Millett, Texas – a small town 79 miles southwest of San Antonio. She later moved to Houston where she married, raised a beautiful family of 4 children, and worked in local hospitals as a nurse’s aide. Angelita was preceded in death by her parents, Juan Camero and Maria Stakes Camero Espinoza, stepfather Pedro Espinoza, and both brothers Santos and Tony Camero. She is survived by the father of her children, Richard Yanez Garcia, her four children, Richard, Brenda, Robert and Irma, her beloved niece Gloria Macias, 9 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, 1 grandniece, 1 grandnephew, and 2 great grandnephews. Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from 5 to 9 o’clock in the evening, with the rosary taking place at 7pm, on Wednesday, March 15th at the Crespo Navigation Chapel, located at 2516 Navigation Blvd., Houston, Texas 77003. The funeral service is to be conducted at 11 o’clock in the morning on Thursday, March 16th at the Crespo Navigation Chapel and the burial to take place afterwards at the Forest Park – Lawndale cemetery, located at 6900 Lawndale St. Houston, Texas 77023. A very warm and special thanks is given to Gloria Macias for the dedication, love and care she gave to Angelita.
