Angelo Cassaro was one of the finest men you could ever hope to meet: a devoted and loving husband to Barbara of 46 years; a caring and encouraging father to his three children, Allison, John Angelo and Mary Elizabeth. He took immeasurable pride in their accomplishments. He dearly loved his five grandchildren, Jayde, Liam, Seth, Ashley and Spencer, and looked forward to seeing his great-grandchildren grow up. Sharing time with and preparing meals for his nephew, Walter, and his family was joyful.
He was a lifetime member of All Saints Catholic Church where his formation began. Early mornings would find him walking to church to serve mass for Fr. O’Sullivan. He supported the St. Jude Foundation and the Ronald McDonald Charities. Should anyone turn to him for help, he unselfishly provided it. As a proud member of The Sacred Heard Society of Little York, Angelo fed his fellow Houstonians each week on “Pasta Thursdays”.
Angelo is preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Mary, and his sisters Josie and Marie. We know he is reunited with his beloved mother, who was waiting for him at the Pearly Gates. He is enfolded in the loving arms of our Savior, Jesus Christ.
