Angelo Joe Torres

Angelo Joe Torres, age 55, of Houston, Texas passed away on Monday, February 17, 2025. Born on November 6, 1969, in Lancin, Michigan. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend, deeply cherished by all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his mother (Maria Naranjo) and brother (Jim Torrez). He will be greatly missed by his wife of 28 years, Rosa Anna Torres, daughter, Kristina (Angel) Delgado, and sons, Vincent, Luis and Fernando. Grandchildren: Melanie Angelique, Robert Angel, Analiah Brielle, Avery Skye, VD III, and Layken Abilene. He is also survived by his father, Luis Naranjo and siblings, Gloria (Mike) Yoho, Debra (Sabrina) Martinez. Also, special Fur Baby, “Daisy Marie” and many nieces and nephews.

He attended Waltrip High School in Houston, Texas. Angelo was a Journeyman Electrician by trade with great passion for 33 years up until his death. When Angelo was not working, he enjoyed spending time with his family and playing softball. He also became a certified ASA and USSSA Umpire. But most of all he was a diehard Dallas Cowboy fan along with the Houston Astros and Miami Hurricanes.

Angelo was a man of much patience and kindness and his unwavering compassion to his family and friends will never be forgotten.

A visitation for Angelo will be held Wednesday, February 26, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel, 5100 North Fwy, Houston, TX 77022. A rosary will occur Wednesday, February 26, 2025, from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM, 5100 North Fwy, Houston, TX 77022. A funeral mass will occur Thursday, February 27, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at St Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 501 Tidwell Rd, Houston, TX 77022. A committal service will occur Thursday, February 27, 2025, from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at Calvary Hill Funeral Home & Cremations, 21723 Aldine Westfield Rd, Humble, TX 77338.
