I have so many wonderful memories of Aunt Anita from when I was a little girl and she first came from Germany and how nice and beautiful I thought she was. She was able to always make each of us feel special and important to her. 
My family was part of Uncle Buck and Aunt Anita’s wedding.  My Mom and Dad sang a duet.  My cousin David Darby and I were 5 and my sister Kathleen and cousin Bobby Darby  were 4ish and also in the wedding. Kathleen and I were flower girls, and at the rehearsal we were told to walk up the aisle very slowly and practiced it several times. At the wedding we did a great job walking slowly up the aisle. No one had told us anything about walking back down the aisle after the ceremony, as in, we should walk fast. We left just ahead of Buck and Anita walking as slowly as we could. Buck began knee bump/kicking us to push us along. Of course we thought we were doing something wrong, maybe going too fast, so we walked even slower. Buck kept knee kicking us, while Anita (giggling) kept saying, “Stop, don’t do that Bucky”. We were very confused and continued our ever slowing walk, kick, step, kick, slower step, kick, all the way down the aisle.
Bobby was the ring bearer. David had surgery on his foot shortly before the wedding and had to be in a wheel chair. It never ruffled Anita. She took that opportunity to allow a dear friend of our family Wallace to participate by pushing David’s wheelchair.  David clutched a beautiful wedding candle, afraid he would drop the lit candle, he held it so tightly, that his little handprints we’re permanently left in the candle. 
Aunt Anita was my greatest example of unconditional love. She never passed on an opportunity to say and show her love for me. She didn’t become an angel when she passed on, she already was one. She just got a promotion.
 I will always love her.
 



Anita was a wonderful human being, I remember her as a sweet and kind lady always, she was nice with everyone, and had a beautiful words every time. 
She will be missed,

I first met Anita as a 10  year old shortly after meeting my soon to be best friend, her daughter Karen. Mrs. Mott, as I called her then and always, was always warm and inviting. Growing up, she was the kind of mom and adult that made a young person feel you could talk to her about anything. As an adult, I continued to appreciate her intelligence, wisdom, keen insight, and always on point advice. She always made me feel like family.  She offered her love and unconditional understanding after the death of my own parents, and had the ability to empathize in a way that very few people could. When I look at Karen and her wonderful grandkids, I see so much of that depth and warmth that she passed on. She will forever be family and will be so missed. 

Anita was such a beautiful  human being. She was the most uplifting and kind souls I had the pleasure of meeting many years ago. She was an amazing mother and grandmother. She was loved my many, including me. ❤️

I believe there is no greater tribute to someone than to let them know how much they mean to you. Once they are gone, there is no greater tribute than to remember them —and then let others know how much they meant to you.

I believe my aunt Anita took her role as aunt/mentor very seriously. She was especially good at holding people accountable. In fact, she would usually volunteer to help you do what you needed to do so that you could be held accountable. She would be there at your side helping you. 

Aunt Anita has always had this very special place in my heart. As a good aunt, she gave sage advice, held authority, spoiled me plenty, and I always trusted her to have my back. 

Anita was also such a cool aunt! She was so beautiful and she even rocked hot pants in the 70’s in the most tasteful way! So while my parents were out of state house hunting, knowing sadly they had to miss my 8th birthday, you better BELIEVE that I was going to except her gift for me to go shopping for an outfit at Almeda Mall! That outfit was almost as cool as her hot pants. 

Aunt Anita and Uncle Buck raised two amazing daughters, Pam and Kim. Being closer in age to Pam, we were very close-knit as little girls growing up. This stayed the case into young adulthood, vacations, concerts (well one in particular), college parties, relationships, basically just growing up and into life in general. So as Pam and I grew-up as tight friends and cousins, I was aware that Aunt Anita treated me as another  daughter whenever I was around. 

During my final visit with Aunt Anita, I was able to thank her for so many of those moments that I have been grateful for. I am sad for the ending of an era but I know that Pam and Kim, and Aunt Anita’s grandkids are the legacy of a truly loving and remarkable woman. 

Anita, her kind face I will never forget.  She will be always in my heart.   May she rest in Peace!  

Anita was a great friend and sister in the Lord to all who knew her.  She was a friend that would have given her life for another. I had the privilege of a close relationship with her through our church prayer group at Glorious Way Church and she was an integral part of our praise music as well as our occasional leader.  She did everything with Excellence, Love and Integrity!  We know her entrance in Heaven had to be beyond what we can imagine; and when she met her Lord, his greeting  was with these words “Well done, my good and faithful servant!”

Anita was always so vibrant whenever I encountered her out walking. She made you feel she was very interested in what you had to say and very positive even when she was going through rough times. She will truly be missed. Her smile was a ray of sunshine in this world of ours today. 

Precious Anita will be so greatly missed here with us, but we know she’s having a great time with many others in heaven. She was such a special person to me, and all of us in our prayer group. We all have such a love for each other, a unity where we knew when we got together our prayers were powerful. We also had a lot in common. We both liked to organize things. We spent a lot of time together. She organized my husbands garage and office , and together we worked on my sister-in-law‘s house. Getting rid of excesses that she had,. That helped give her a reason to live after her husband passed. It was an overwhelming  situation  that we were able to work on together. Created a real bond between us and my family. We shared a love to worship and pray together, and love  on people.  Anita, You made an indelible mark on our hearts. We will always love you!

I met Anita at work and knew I had a friend for life. She taught me so much, most important and cherished is that she never had a negative word to say about anyone. She always found the good in everyone. She loved to be with her daughters and grandchildren and has always been so proud of her girls and family. Her positive and loving outlook is something I will carry with me and aspire to. Anita believed in her family, god and the good she found in each person she met. She gave all of herself and she is truly cherished, loved and missed. She will fit right in with the angels. 

Anita was such a special person and one of the sweetest and kindest people I have ever met. She was an amazing mother and grandmother and was devoted to her daughters and grandchildren. I was lucky to know her and be part of her life and have many fond memories of her. She was so loved and will be missed dearly. May she rest in peace. 

Anita had a wonderful soul. 
Always giving and loving those that touched her life.
She will always be in our hearts and will never forget the many birthdays, Easters, Christmases, Graduations that we share with our families for years.
All those memories are imprinted in our hearts forever.

I remember I ministered to Anita when she accepted salvation and she received the baptism of the Holy Spirit.  Such a beautiful and faithful saint. She had such a sweet spirit and she gave so much of herself.  She rejoices with her savior.  We will see you again. 

Anita was such a special woman of God.  She lived what she believed and cherished her daughters and grandchildren.  She helped me during one of my dark times and we became so close. I will miss her always but know she is in Heaven with her precious Savior never to suffer again. Much love to her family…..
