Anita Cain Stelter passed away April 18, 2023 from complications due to leukemia. She was born in Texas City, Texas to William Lowell Can and Frances Geneva Sellers on August 9, 1940 and was a fifth-generation Texan. When Anita was 3 months old, the family moved to the Houston area. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Winston (1993). She is survived by her beloved daughter, Dana. She loved gardening and her precious pets.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 27th at 2pm at Anita’s home.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to: the Society of Prevention of Cruelty of Animals, the Houston Humane Society, the Citizens for Animal Protection Society, or the Star of Hope.
