

She was born on the 10th of October 1940, in Fort Worth. Ann and her sister, Paula, grew up in Houston attending Roberts Elementary, Lanier Junior High, and Lamar High School. Ann went on to attend Texas Christian University where she was a member of Delta Delta Delta sorority. It was at TCU that Ann met the love of her life, Robert P. Gregory. Bob and Ann were married in 1961 and made their home in Houston, where they raised their sons, Gray and Paul.
Ann was an avid tennis player and golfer, who loved to travel and spend summers in Colorado with family and friends. Ann treasured all of her friendships throughout the years from her HRC Tennis days, HCC Women’s Golf Association, St. Martin’s Bible Study, River Oaks Garden Club to her lifelong friends from West U and Lamar High School.
She was a dear friend, devoted wife, beloved aunt and loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. All will remember Ann for her kindness, properness, competitive spirit, sense of humor and her gentle Christian faith.
Ann is preceded in death by her husband of forty-six years, Bob Gregory; and her beloved sister, Paula Chandler.
She is survived by her children, Gray Gregory and his wife Heidi, and Paul Gregory and his wife Jennifer; grandchildren, Piper Gregory, Page Matthews and her husband Josh, Ryan Gregory and his wife Carly, Sarah Gregory and her fiancé Anes Cherif; great-grandchildren, Bobby, Ouisie, and Bud Matthews, and Jay, Griffin, and Gray Gregory; lifelong devoted friends, Ellen Heemer and Bitsey Hail; numerous brother and sister-in laws; and nieces and nephews.
The family is grateful for Lynn Paddio, who has faithfully cared for her, along with Joy Smith and Mary Meehan.
A memorial service is to be conducted at ten o’clock in the morning on Wednesday, the 23rd of April, in Christ Chapel at St. Martin’s Episcopal Church, 717 Sage Road in Houston.
Immediately following, all are invited to greet the family during a reception to be held in the adjacent Chapel Reception Hall.
