

She was a graduate of Southern Methodist University, where she was voted most beautiful by her classmates. Ann was a member of Christ Church Cathedral and the Houston Racquet Club. She will be missed greatly for her kindness, great sense of humor and laughter, cooking wonderful homemade meals for family gatherings, and genuine care of family and friends.
Ann was preceded in death by J.B. Richardson, MD, her husband of 62 years, daughter Diane Richardson Walker; grandchildren, Allen Walker and Tara Richardson; sister, Muriel Howard; and brothers Charles T. and Ray W. Davis. She is survived by sons, Ronald Richardson and wife Patti and Randall Richardson and wife Patti; grandchildren Laura Richardson Escalona and husband Salvador, Wendy Walker Hebert and husband Chris, Bryan and Mark Richardson, and Andrea Walker; great-grandchildren Chelsea and Kirby Walker, Nicholas and Emma Polanco, Hailey and Jackson Hebert, Gabriela and Sofia Escalona and several nieces and nephews. The family expresses their gratitude to caregiver Mary Smith Tompkins and to Vitas Hospice and staff for their kind, attentive care.
Friends are cordially invited to visitation with the family from five o’clock in the afternoon until seven o’clock in the evening on Wednesday, the 4th of August, in the Drawing Room of Geo. H. Lewis & Sons, 1010 Bering Drive, in Houston.
A graveside service, for family and friends, is to be conducted at eleven o’clock in the morning on Thursday, the 5th of August, at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery, 6900 Lawndale Avenue in Houston.
The memorial service is to be conducted at two o’clock in the afternoon, also on Thursday, the 5th of August, at The Episcopal Church of the Holy Spirit, 12535 Perthshire Road in Houston, where the Rev. David F. K. Puckett, Rector, is to serve as celebrant.
Immediately following the service, all are invited to greet the family during a reception in the adjacent parish hall.
