Mrs. Anna Marie Valentine, 55, died peacefully surrounded by her loved ones on December 18, 2019 after a long battle with cancer. She is preceeded in death by her son Donald Valentine ||| and brother Thomas Cortez Jr. She is survived by her husband Donald Valentine || ; son Daniel Valentine and daughter Monica Valentine (Adrian); her parents Thomas and Lupe Cortez Sr.; her grandchildren Aylssa , Robert , and Sonia Tucker and Jayden Mendiola; her sisters Cynthia Torres (Robert) and Rachel Pena (Jose); along with numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. As a Gold Star Mother, Anna continued to support many organizations for the families of fallen heroes across the nation. She was regarded as a standout advocate for the military community and will be greatly missed. Visitation are held under Del Angel -Crespo Funeral Home on Monday December 30, 2019 from 1pm- 9pm with a rosary at 7pm.
