Annie was born in Kansas City, Missouri on February 15, 1932 to Mario and Corinne Pascutti. Annie was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Sam Washburn and her brother Arthur Pascutti. She leaves behind her daughter, Brenda Blanda (husband John), son Vincent (Duke) Washburn (wife Kayce), grandchildren Robert (Bobby) Walsh (wife Lori), Gina-Marissa Walsh (husband Edward Snelling), James (Jake) Washburn (wife Brooklyn), great-grandchildren Caroline Kate Walsh and Ava Jane Walsh, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Annie grew up in Kansas City and graduated from Central High School in 1949. In 1952, she and Sam married and began their beautiful life together. They established many fond friendships along the way.
She was a faithful follower of the catholic church, raising her family accordingly and following it throughout her life. She loved to cook, providing incredible meals to her family and friends, enjoyed working in her garden, playing tennis and Bridge with friends, and was a completely devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. With her kids starting their careers in 1980, Annie enjoyed a 15-year career at Western Geophysical and retired in 1995.
Annie was the heart of our family. She will be deeply missed, but we know she is with our Lord now and reunited with Sam, her parents, brother Art Pascutti and many other loved ones!
In remembrance of Annie, memorial contributions may be directed to Catholic Charities USA, or a charity of your choice.
