Anna Forest Wright

Anna Forest Wright went to be with the Lord on Thursday May 26, 2011 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born on Saturday July 8, 1933 in Swenson, Texas, the youngest of Robert and Vera Hall and spent the first 16 years of her life on a farm in Aspermont, Texas.

Anna met the love of her life, Bill Wright, at Hardin Simmons University. They married shortly thereafter and enjoyed a long and happy marriage together. They had three daughters to whom Anna was a wonderful influence and encourager. Anna enjoyed her friends and family immensely and made them a priority in her life. Anna loved the Lord and spent much of her life in the Church. She was known for her uplifting spirit, her bright smile, and her memorable laugh. Life will not be the same without her sweet presence.

Anna is preceded in death by her husband, parents, and her daughter, Trish Wright, and also by her son-in-law, David Jamison, and her three brothers, Reese, Marshall, and William. Anna is survived by her daughter, Suzanne Fields and husband Royce, daughter, Julie Jamison and fiancé Stuart Segraves; three grandchildren, Anna Fields, Parker Jamison, and Sydney Jamison.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday May 28, 2011 at Memorial Oaks Cemetery, 13001 Katy Freeway Houston, Texas.
