It is with heavy sadness that we announce the passing of Anna Youschak, 87, on February 26, 2025 peacefully in Cypress, Texas. She was born on December 4, 1937, to Nicholas and Mary Anzano in Brooklyn, N.Y. She was one of 4 children, and the younger sister, to the late Angie Leone, sister Louise Bocamazo and late Tony Anzano. Anna was full of life, loved being home with her family and especially enjoyed having her cup of coffee while being able to sit outside in the backyard listening to the birds. One of the many rituals that she did everyday was put on an apron, and boy did she have many aprons. Another one of her favorite pastimes was cooking, and did she know how to cook! Our favorites were her pepper steak and egg plant, ooh so good. But the one thing Anna will be most remembered for is loving and nurturing her family by being together, which she cherished each and everyday. Her kindness and warm heart raidated to everyone she was in touch with. Anna is survived by her son Peter, daughter-in-law Cindy, grandchildren, Matthew and Julia, and her grand cats, Zoe and Alexa.
A visitation for Anna will be held Saturday, March 1, 2025 from 8:00 AM to 9:30 AM at Brookside Funeral Home-Cypress Cr, 9149 Highway 6 North, Houston, TX 77095, followed by a funeral service from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM.
