Anne Catherine Pinkerton

She studied at the University of St. Thomas earning a Bachelor of Arts with the class of 1964. She went on to earn a Master of Education and became Professor Emerita of Biology as part of her 40-year tenure at the University of St. Thomas. During her successful and impactful career, she dedicated her life to teaching others and was proud of her tenure as chair of the faculty senate.

Anne was preceded in death by her parents, William F. and Mary J. Pinkerton as well as her brothers, Harry E. and John T. Pinkerton. She is survived by her brother William F. Pinkerton and wife Renee of Plano, TX as well as ten nieces and nephews Michael, Karen, Amy, Phillip, Andy, Ronald, Mark, Catherine, Courtney and Patrick.

Friends are invited to visitation with the family from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm on Tuesday, September 17, 2024, at Earthman Funeral Directors, 8303 Katy Freeway, Houston, TX 77024. The Rite of Committal Will be at 10:00 am on Wednesday, September 18, 2024, at Earthman Resthaven Cemetery, 13102 North Freeway, Houston, TX 77060
