Anneke was born in Alphen aan de Rijn , The Netherlands as 1 of 5 children from Cornelia and Cornelis Hesseling. In 1973 she migrated to Houston, Texas with her ex-husband and 3 children and stayed there until passing. In 1982 she married Robert Junier until present.
Anneke had several jobs in Holland, mostly in retail and the longest tenure was saleslady in a jewelry store. In Houston she spent several years as a childcare nursery supervisor. After that she devoted all her time raising her 7 grandchildren and taught them all to swim in her backyard pool. The grandchildren were the love of her life. She was very much involved with Holland Club of Houston, served many years on the board including 3 years as President of the club.
She is survived by her sister Adrie, brother Peter, her children Christa, Leo and Nathascha, her grandchildren Jon, Cynthia, Christian, Sophia, Payton, Tyler and Karsten and husband Robert.
She will rest in peace after a long bout from a stroke and will be dearly missed.
A visitation for Anneke will be held Friday, May 2, 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Forest Park Westheimer Funeral Home, 12800 Westheimer Road, Houston, TX. A funeral service will occur Friday, May 2, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, 12800 Westheimer Road, Houston, TX. A reception will occur Friday, May 2, 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:30 PM, 12800 Westheimer Road, Houston, TX. A committal service will occur Friday, May 2, 2025 from 4:30 PM to 5:00 PM at Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery, 12800 Westheimer Rd, Houston, TX.
