

With loving family by his side Anthony Paul Finnegan passed away on August 13, 2016. Beloved by all who knew him, Paul was the finest, sweetest son a father could have. Paul enjoyed playing his Les Paul guitar, being with friends and hanging out with his dogs.
Paul was born August 11, 1995 in Houston, Texas to Tony and Lauren Finnegan. He grew up in Bellaire, Texas. Paul graduated from Bellaire High School in 2014. At Bellaire he played baseball for Rocky Manuel. He received the Bellaire Cardinal Baseball “The Murff Award” for character and leadership in 2014. Special thanks to Coach Manuel for coming to see him every week he was in the hospital. He had wonderful coaches and teammates who also supported him. Heartfelt thanks to all his cherished friends who supported him. Paul was an accomplished musician. He played violin for 10 years. In 8th grade he went with the Pershing Middle School Chamber Orchestra to play songs from the WWII era for veterans at the Battleship Missouri at Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. They did a beautiful rendition of “Somewhere over the Rainbow”. In high school he switched to guitar.
Paul was preceded in death in by his loving mother Lauren J. Finnegan (Guercio). Beloved Paul is survived by his father Anthony N. Finnegan, sisters Jeanette Finnegan, Aimee Finnegan and Katelyn Finnegan, brother Nicholas Finnegan, aunts Elaine Scroggins, Cathy Dittman and Rhonda Guercio and uncles Mitch Finnegan and Greg Guercio and numerous cousins.
