Anton Joseph Fabrygel, 89, of New Braunfels, Texas went to be with our Lord and Savior on Wednesday, October 7, 2020. Anton was one of seven children born July 6, 1931 to Louis and Katherine Fabrygel in Midfield, Texas. He graduated from Blessing High School in 1948 and enlisted in the United States Navy. He served in the Navy in a Service Support Command position for the Pacific Fleet from 1948 until 1953. Upon his honorable discharge from the Navy, he settled in Houston, Texas where he met his beautiful bride and wife of 53 years, Dorothy Ann (Lucas) Fabrygel. Anton worked in the hotel guest services industry for over 40 years and when he was not working, he spent his time in his garden and going polka dancing every weekend. He was an avid reader, bingo player and loved to be outdoors spending time with his wife, his children and his grandchildren whenever he could. He was a joyful soul with a larger than life smile and even bigger heart. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. Anton is survived by his wife, Dorothy Ann Fabrygel, his two daughters, Doris Ann Bronikowski and her husband Robert of Jersey Village, and Kimberly Renee Woodall and her husband Charles of New Braunfels; four grandchildren, Ryan Anton Bronikowski, Katherine Denae Bronikowski of Jersey Village, and Cameron Joseph Woodall and Briana Renee Woodall of New Braunfels; his sisters Helen (Fabrygel) Mozley, Anne (Fabrygel) Savage, his brothers Louis and Frank Fabrygel and numerous nieces, nephews and relatives. Aunt Dorothy, Dorothy, and Kim:

I'm so heartfully sorry to learn that my Great Uncle Tony has passed. I can't imagine how difficult this time must be for you, and I wish I could be there for the service on Tuesday. I've sent a floral arrangement to the funeral home. Please don't hestitate to call on me if there's anything you need. I'm not too far away.

We're going to miss seeing Uncle Tony at the family reunions. He loved you all so much, and we were lucky to have him!
