Tony was educated through the public school system in Chicago, Illinois. He joined the army and fought in the Vietnam War. After he was discharged he continued his education at Kennedy King College and Columbia Broadcasting.
Tony was a humorous man with a mischievous side. He loved to play practical jokes on people and make them laugh. But if the joke was on you, you weren't laughing; at least not at that time. He really had a great sense of humor.
He loved Jehovah God. He was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses on November 2, 1991. He kept a spiritual routine until his death.
Tony also loved his family and music. He was a multi-talented concert promoter. He put together several concert events for various artists. These events also included bid whist contests. Many of his spiritual brothers and sisters looked forward to and thoroughly enjoyed these events.
Tony married Barbara Jean Holton on April 22, 1996 in Chicago, Illinois.
