

Antonio Rodriguez-Lugo, 92, passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of love, dedication, and unwavering devotion to his family. Born in Mexico City, D.F., Mexico, Antonio lived a life defined by hard work, integrity, and kindness.
Antonio was preceded in death by his parents, Antonio H. Rodriguez and Isabel Lugo; son, Gabriel Rodriguez; brother, Gerardo Rodriguez.
For more than 16 years, Antonio worked in the oil and gas industry as a pipe fitter for Southwest Fabricating, Texas Pipe, and Offenhauser Company. He took great pride in his work and earned the respect of those who worked alongside him through his dedication and strong work ethic.
His greatest accomplishment, however, was his family. Antonio was a devoted husband to his beloved wife, Nieves Moreno Rodriguez, with whom he shared 56 wonderful years of marriage. Together they built a loving family that remained the center of his life.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 56 years, Nieves Moreno Rodriguez; his daughter, Patricia Villarreal and her husband, Javier G. Villarreal; his son, Antonio Rodriguez Jr. and his wife, Araceli Rodriguez; his son, Alfredo Rodriguez and his wife, Monica Rodriguez; and his daughter, Elizabeth Abdin and her husband, Ahmad Abdin. He is also survived by his seven cherished grandchildren, Javier Villarreal, Alexis Villarreal, Gabriel Rodriguez, Lauren Rodriguez, Fredrick Rodriguez, Nicholas Rodriguez, and Matthew Abdin, and his four beloved great-grandchildren, Grayson, Adalynn, Aniyah, and Mayabella.
Antonio treasured every opportunity to spend time with his family, especially during the holidays. He looked forward to family road trips to San Antonio and Orlando, creating memories that will be cherished for generations. He also found great peace in music, often relaxing by the pool while listening to his favorite classical compositions and tango melodies.
Antonio will be remembered for his quiet strength, generous heart, unwavering love for his family, and the example he set through a lifetime of hard work, humility, and compassion. His legacy will live on in the lives of those who knew and loved him.
He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Christopher Catholic Church, 8150 Park Pl Blvd, Houston, TX 77071 on July 3, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.
Visitation will take place at Funeraria Del Angel Crespo, 4136 BROADWAY ST, HOUSTON, TX 77087 on July 3, 2026, from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
