Argelia H Cardenas

Argelia “Chele” H. Cardenas, born March 31, 1934 passed away October 9, 2012. She will be greatly missed by her husband, Leandro Cardenas Sr.; children, Santos A. Cardenas and wife Priscilla, Leandro Cardenas Jr., son Sherman Snyder, Aleida Cardenas Romero and husband Joel, Leo Cardenas and wife Myrna, Maria Y Cardenas, and Sandra Cardenas Davila and husband Emilio; grandchildren, Santos Aaron Cardenas and wife Dina, Monica Angelica Cardenas, Andrew Joel Romero and wife Michelle, Jacob Daniel Romero, Alyssa Joelle Romero, Leo Alejandro Cardenas and wife Ashley, Nayeli Mariam Cardenas, Francisco Javier Cardenas, Stephanie Leann Davila and Emilio Julian Davila; great grandchildren, Reese, A.J., Mason, Sofia; sisters, Rosalba Trevino, Arminda Hinojosa, Esther Marroquin, Rosario Trevino, Lupana Marroquin; brother, Alfredo Hinojosa, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family and friends. She is preceded in death by her brothers Filimon Hinojosa and Oscar Hinojosa.

Chele was a strong woman that proved her doctors wrong many times, but in the end God had other plans and called her home.

Visitation will be from 4:00 pm until 9:00 pm Thursday, October 11, 2012 at Brookside Funeral Home with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm. Funeral Service will be conducted at 3:00 pm Friday, October 12, 2012 at Brookside Grand Chapel with interment to follow in Brookside Memorial Park.

The Cardenas family would like to deeply thank the nursing staff at St. Luke’s ICU 7 South 3 for their kindness and compassionate care of our loving wife, mother and grandmother, Argelia H. Cardenas.
