Some time ago she married the love of her life George Bertrand. Arletta was a strong woman who dedicated her life to her family. She was a wonderful daughter, wife, mother and friend. Arletta had a passion for gardening and playing dominoes.
Left behind to cherish her memory are sons, Mike Thames and Ronald Bertrand; grandchildren, Tammy Adams and Sara Atkinson; great granddaughter, Hannah, Kayla and Emma; great-grandson Zachery Adams; and great great granddaughter, Braelyn Adams. Arletta is preceded in death by the love of her life George Bertrand; and parents Owen and Willie Lette Mullen.
The family will receive extended family and close friends for visitation on Tuesday, June 11, 2019 from 9am to 11am, with a funeral service to follow at 11am in the Family Chapel at Brookside Funeral Home located at 13747 Eastex Freeway Houston, TX 77039 followed by a burial at Brookside Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Bethel Family Worship Center, 301 Hickory St. Cleveland, Texas 77328.
