Arline spent her childhood in New York and always spoke of her fond memories of Brooklyn and the country side of up-state New York. At the age of 14, she moved to San Antonio, Texas where she graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in 1954 and married in 1955. Her early years after marriage were spent as a mom and housewife raising her four children. In 1969 Arline and her family moved to Houston, Texas. She later volunteered at Memorial City Hospital in the mid 1970’s. This later led to her employment in the medical records department. Arline then transitioned into the Advertising and Private Investigation industries as an Administrative Assistant. She worked the following seventeen years as an Administrative Assistant to the finance department at Igloo Products Corporation. During her time with Igloo, Arline made many wonderful, lifelong friends.
Arline loved to spend her time cooking and trying new recipes, reading books, talking on the phone with her friends, working crossword puzzles, and knitting. She cherished time with her grandchildren and always encouraged them to follow their dreams.
Arline always wanted more from life, and encouraged her children to better themselves. She will be deeply missed by her children, grandchildren, family, and friends.
