Armando L. Ramirez

Armando L. Ramirez, born September 23, 1937 passed away on September 28, 2012 He was born in South Texas and at an early age he realized that he wanted more out of life than what he had. So he began to travel all over the US getting jobs in factories and on farms any were that he could find a job. He would hop the trains or catch a ride and go up north thus earning him the name El Trampa in 1965 he moved his family to Houston were he bought his first truck and went to work as a truck driver. He will be greatly missed by his wife of 54 years, Lydia Ramirez; children, Leticia Ramirez Robles, husband Raul, Lorrie Lumb, Mary McDaniel and Robert McDaniel, Edward Ramirez and wife Sylvia and Armando Ramirez Jr. and wife Karen; brother, Arnold Ramirez and wife Ofelia; sister in law, Elida Ramirez; grandchildren, Anthony Ramirez, Aaron Ramirez, Gilbert Robles, Robert Robles, Vanessa Ruiz, Bianca Robles, Ashley Mc Daniel, Levi McDaniel, Lydia McDaniel, Kaylee Jimenez, Zachary Ramirez, David Lumb, Christina Harmon, Stephen Lumb, Edward W. Ramirez, Jonathon Ramirez, Amanda Ramirez, Savannah Ramirez, Robert Gutierrez, Charlie Gutierrez, Eric Gutierrez; great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm Monday, October 1, 2012 at Brookside Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be conducted at 11:00 am Tuesday, October 2, 2012 at Brookside Grand Chapel with interment to follow in Brookside Memorial Park.
