Armando was a Houston, Texas sports fanatic, especially when it came to the Houston Astros. He was a private person who loved to sit on his porch with his radio and listen to classic rock with a cold drink in hand.
Armando was preceded in death by his father, Juan, his mother, Maria, brothers, Carlos and Alberto Salazar and sister Mary Jane Villarreal. He is survived by his sister, Janie Salazar Lockeman and brother in law, Michael Paul Lockeman, nephews, John Brian Salazar, Alex Michael Lockeman, Miguel Angel Ibarra, Israel Villarreal, Jr. and Daniel Villarreal, nieces, Leslie Salazar Ibarra, Erin Noel Lockeman, Heather Salazar and Erica Soto. He had no children but is survived by his great nephews, Jesse Elijah Soria, John Michael Salazar, Andrew Angel Ibarra and great niece, Faith Angel Ibarra. He is one of numerous cousins.
Visitation will be held Monday, February 13, 2023 from 2pm to 9pm at Funeraria Del Angel Crespo, 2516 Navigation Blvd., Houston, TX 77003. A chapel service will be held that evening at 7pm at Funeraria Del Angel Crespo, 2516 Navigation Blvd., Houston, TX 77003.
A committal service will be held Tuesday, February 14, 2023 at San Jacinto Memorial Park at 11:30am, 14659 East Fwy, Houston, TX 77015.
