Arturo was born September 25, 1944 in Bishop TX and raised in Brownsville in the neighborhood of San Pedro. He was an alumnus of Los Fresno High School. At the age of 26, Arturo became a licensed master plumber and went on to own and operate his own plumbing company, Triple A Plumbing, for several years working side by side with his two sons.

John 14: 1-3
"Let not your hearts be troubled; believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father's house are many rooms; if it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you? And when I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, that where I am you may be also."
Psalm 23
"The Lord is my Shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures; He leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul; He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for His name’s sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; for Thou art with me; Thy rod and Thy staff, they comfort me; Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies; Thou anointest my head with oil, my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life; and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever."
