Auburn Lee Spencer Romoser was born on July 20, 1940, in Houston, TX, to Floyd and Ruth Spencer. She loved and served her family and Jesus, her Lord and Savior, faithfully throughout her life. She and her late husband Bruce served together in full-time ministry for over 40 years in the US and internationally. Bruce was a pastor in Texas and Maryland, and Auburn was always his companion in ministry to churches and families. As well, they served as international missionaries for 15 years in Argentina through the Southern Baptist International Mission Board. As of March 24, 2023, after living a full 82 years of life on earth, she is now celebrating her eternal life in her heavenly home with Jesus and countless loved ones.
Auburn is survived by her children: Mark (Kari), Dave (Shelly), Joy (Brian) Gossett, John Arthur, and Matthew (Florina); her grandchildren: Jake (Rebecca), Zachary (Leanna), Luke (Maddy), Lexi, Josiah (Karagan), Caleb (Kelly), Mikhaela (Grant), Tori (Tanner), Landon (Olivia), Cade, Kidron, Shiloh, and Shechem; and great-grandchildren: Junia, Esther, Simon, Lany and Theodore (Theo).
