Dear Argentine "nieces and nephews":
We are praying for the entire Romoser family especially during these days following Auburn's homegoing. We have many great memories of times spent with both Bruce and Auburn, and we were privileged to stay in their home a couple times while they lived in Neuquén.
Mission meeting times and occasionally other meetings put us together for various business and fellowship opportunities, and we thank God for all of them.
Please remember that we love each of you "kids" (sorry about that, but that's an aunt or uncle for you!) and we treasure how our paths crossed beginning in late 1977 when we first arrived in Buenos Aires.

We loved your parents and when Pastor Bruce fell ill, we supported Auburn as much as possible. They were a sweet couple and example of God’s love. In fact after meeting the entire family at Pastor Bruce’s memorial, all the family are a shining light in this world. Continue to be steadfast & immovable, always abounding in love! We were saddened to learn of the passing of sweet Auburn. We have such fond memories of both of your parents. One of the memories I shared with Auburn was that she was expecting Matthew at the same time I was expecting Danny. We had fun comparing notes (the last pregnancy for your mom and the first for me), and she was so helpful to me. We also shared a baby shower together at Thea during mission meeting. We have loved and respected your parents, and they impacted many lives for Christ during their time in Argentina.

My niece (Julie, my sister’s daughter) texted me the other day. She had been cleaning out some old cards that people had sent her through the years. She said she had found one that Auburn had sent her when she graduated from college. It was a sweet note filled with encouragement. Julie was already married and they had 2 children. After her husband got out of the Air Force, he felt called to be a pastor. He went to the seminary in Fort Worth. He is now pastor of the JOY Baptist Church in Joy, Texas. Julie wrote “Please tell Uncle Arthur how much I thought of Auburn and Bruce. As a child I was sort of in awe of them for being foreign missionaries and always sort of put them on a pedestal. Then I got to know them better and spend some time with them, even playing tennis with Bruce once. They were truly caring people, and I am blessed to have gotten to know them.” I told Julie that I was impressed that she played tennis with Bruce. He never asked me to play with him. (She was on the tennis team at the high school in Wichita Falls.) ~ Blessings and love, Aunt Mary

Joy, Your mom was such a sweet, dear person to me and so many others! We both worked at Forcey when my parents left for Ecuador and it was such a comfort to me to talk with your mom when I was missing mine. She encouraged me in so many ways. Once I commiserated with her about the idea of bringing children into such a sinful world. She didn’t even hesitate – she said yes you should because they will be a light for a dark world. I never forgot that. She was a beautiful light for Jesus! Thank you for sharing her with me! ~ Love you! Jen

Dear Romoser family,
 I never had  the pleasure of knowing your parents, although I knew and heard of them through my dear mother in Megargel, Tx when Bruce served as her pastor. She loved them both dearly and, while we were in Argentina from 1960-65 she would mention them and comment on her delight in their presence in her life. We left Argentina before they arrived, but I've thought and prayed for your family  through the intervening years.
Please accept my deepest condolences and prayers for  God's peace to fill your hearts in these days of grief.
