

She graduated from Jeff Davis High School in Houston, Tx. class of 1957.
She worked as a phone switchboard operator before putting her typing and shorthand skills to use and eventually becoming a respected executive secretary at MW Kellogg and later as a legal secretary.
She was actively involved in her beloved church, St. Justin Martyr. She loved camping and tubing the river, especially with her children and grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Norbert White and Agnes Williams, her brother Eddy Williams, and sister Mary Billeaud.
She is survived by her sister; Judy Ledbetter; children; Denise Fortner, Bert Brasseaux, and Rick Brasseaux; as well as 7 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
In the neighborhood where she raised her 3 children, she was infamous for her Halloween popcorn balls and Christmas tea rings. Later in life, she took up stained glass and 3 of her creations hang in the narthex at St. Justin Martyr.
Family and friends are invited to attend a service at St. Justin Martyr 13350 Ashford Point Drive Houston 77082 on Friday June 24th at 10:30am. Visitation with the family will begin at 10am.
