Barbara Sullivan Kelldorf of Jersey Village, TX, passed away peacefully at home on the 7th of March 2019, she was 84 years of age. Barbara was a lifetime resident of Texas, born and raised in Smithville, TX. Barbara married in August of 1954 to Eugene Kelldorf, was a supportive wife and mother who raised 6 children.

Barbara began a working career at St Joseph Hospital as a PBX Telecommunicator in the late 60’s and retired in the late 90’s after 30+ years with the same employer. During that time, she began working as a switchboard operator and retired just one step under the director of Communications St. Joseph Hospital as it evolved in her 30+ year career.

Barbara was involved with the PBX Club of Houston for 20+ years and serving several terms as club President and Treasurer. She was also a member of the Red Hatters Club of Houston to which she was very proud of wearing her red hat faithfully. Barbara was also a member of the Copperfield Church in Houston, TX. She loved to play bingo, crochet and possibly her all-time favorite was reading numerous books either paperback or online.

Barbara Kelldorf is preceded in death by Eugene Kelldorf, brother James T. Sullivan and sister Estella George and her two eldest sons Terry G. Kelldorf and Keith D. Kelldorf. Barbara is survived by her other children Cynthia K. Dantin, Darryl V. Kelldorf, Brian C. Kelldorf and Michelle L. Kelldorf. Grandchildren Thomas J. Dantin, Jeremiah Kelldorf, Scotty Meshell, Brandy K. Nagy and Brian C. Kelldorf Jr. and 14 great grandchildren.

A memorial service in her honor will be held at: Brookeside Funeral Home – Cypress Creek 9149 Hwy 6 N. Houston, TX 77095 3:00pm on Saturday the 16th of March 2019
