Barbara was born December 26, 1935 in Hot Springs, Arkansas to the late James Earl Wilson and Eunetia Appler Wilson. She was the oldest of two children and was a 1958 graduate of ¬Midland High School.
Barbara was united in holy matrimony to Lauchlin “Lock” Arthur McLaurin on October 9, 1958. This union of 57 years was blessed with three children: Karen Blackburn, Beth McKitterick and Tommy McLaurin, son-in-law Andy McKitterick, 7 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren.
Barbara was a loving and caring person, devoted wife, mother, and friend, always thinking of others first. She was an active member of Grand Lakes Presbyterian Church of Katy, Texas. Barbara spent her final years with Lock as a resident of Heritage Grand Retirement Community and enjoyed a variety of events the community offered.
Barbara’s favorite color was blue and the family would love for you to wear blue in Barbara’s honor.
