Thanks for the great slide show.  It was a pleasure to watch the family grow - and to see all your children and grandchildren. Aunt Barb was always bigger than life, with her red hair, that infectious smile and her laugh. Our visits were never long enough, always well remembered.  Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. Barbara Opperman was like an aunt to me but I prefer to call her Mom along with her own kids.  Growing up with them, it was always, "Mom, I'm gone."  It took an Opperman kid to teach me what that really meant.  We were always gone somewhere in the neighborhood, having fun & being kids in the 50's.  I remember Barbara's laugh, her experienced motherly missives and, especially, her sweet anger at trying to curl the  ridiculous (but ever so stylish) Twiggy haircut Connie got. When I remember Aunt Barb I always think of her infectious laugh, big smile and warm hug. She's now playing bridge up in Heaven with my mom and all  her friends who went before her. My thoughts and prayers are with you; Karl, Connie and Chuck and your families. Love, Liz
