Barbara Taylor Woodworth

Barbara was a singer at a young age, and was crowned Miss Hardin County her senior year of High School. She worked as a flight attendant for Delta Airlines for a number of years, before marrying Wethered "Woody" Woodworth of Houston, TX. There she opened a Pappagallo shoe store and also worked as a real estate agent. Barbara was a dog lover and raised several Doberman Champions and cherished all her pets.

She was preceded in death by brother, Donald Webb; mother, Frankie McDonald Webb; and husband, Wethered Woodworth in 2005.

Barbara is survived by her son, John C. Woodworth and wife Robin; three grandsons, John C., Jr, William Reed and Robert Wethered; brother, James R. Webb and his wife Betty and daughter Lyndsey; nephew Donald Webb, Jr. and wife Kristi: and many cherished and special friends.

Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from ten o’clock in the morning until noon on Tuesday, the 1st of March at Geo. H. Lewis & Sons, 1010 Bering Drive in Houston.

The interment will follow at Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery, 12800 Westheimer Road in Houston.
