Barbara Zeid

Barbara passed away peacefully Wednesday morning after ninety joy filled years. Barbara began her life on August 22, 1922 in Independence, Missouri. She moved to Houston, Texas in 1954 where she met her husband of 58 years, Marvin Zeid. She can best be remembered as a wonderful and caring wife, mother, grandmother, and church volunteer. She is a long time member of Memorial Drive United Methodist Church. Throughout her life she was a friend to everyone she met and will be lovingly remembered by many.

Barbara is survived by members of her family: her husband, Marvin Zeid; her three kids, Russell Marvin Zeid and spouse Dana Zeid, Randall William Zeid, and Linda Deere and spouse Bob Deere; and her nine grandchildren, Cassandra, Nicholas, Rachel, and Walter Deere, William, Scott, Christopher, and Caroline Zeid, and Christina Zeid Parsons and her spouse John Parsons. She is also survived by her sister Joann Hart.

Barbara’s family would like for you to join them at her visitation on Sunday, January 27, 2013 from 3-5 P.M. at Memorial Oaks Funeral Home. A memorial service celebrating her life will be Monday, January 28, 2013 at Memorial Drive United Methodist Church at 1:00 P.M. Prior to services Barbara’s family would have gathered for a private burial service.

Pallbearers include Russell Zeid, Randall Zeid, Bob Deere, Nick Deere, Walter Deere, William Zeid, and Christopher Zeid
