Baron B. Green (52), of San Antonio, Texas was born on September 13, 1972, to Alvin and Rita Green in Baton Rouge, LA. He departed his earthly life on June 7, 2025 at M.D. Anderson Hospital in Houston, TX, after an enduring fight against cancer.
Baron embraced Christ as his savior early in life, taking the step of baptism at Greater King David Baptist Church under the guidance of the late Reverend I. H. Warner. His dedication to his country was evident during his time of service in the U.S. Navy. His unwavering love for family and friends ran deep, alongside his fervent passion for the Seattle Seahawks and Southern University Jaguars. Exploring new places and learning about history brought him joy. He cherished the friendly rivalries and competitive banter on the softball field with lifelong friends. Baron will always be remembered for his laid-back approach to life and the genuine care he showed to everyone around him. He had a remarkable ability to make everyone feel like a friend. Never forgotten, forever in our hearts.
Baron’s loving spirit is carried on by his wife, Dosely Green; his son Giovanni Antongiorgi; parents, Rita & Alvin Green; brother, Michael Green of Houston, TX; sisters, Toni (John) Jones of Zachary, LA, Stephanie (Marvin) Mattox of Slaughter, LA, Trina Dorsey of Baton Rouge, LA, Tara Green of Baton Rouge, LA; mother-in-law, Audina David of Portland, TX; sister(s)-in-law, Dalice Rodriguez of Corpus Christi, TX, Pleshette David of Portland, TX; brother-in-law, Samuel (Anna) Mancillas, of San Antonio, TX; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He is preceded in death by his maternal & paternal grandparents, 1 aunt, 2 uncles, and father-in-law.
A visitation for Baron will be held Friday, June 20, 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at CityRise Church | West University Baptist, 6218 Auden St, Houston, TX 77005. A funeral service will occur Friday, June 20, 2025 at 1:30 PM, 6218 Auden St, Houston, TX 77005. A repast will follow.
