surrounded and supported by her loving family during the last days of her life.
Born in Bay City, Texas, one of four children to Emilia Sustaita and Jose Rubio. Later her family
moved to Houston where she met her loving husband Reynaldo Garay. Beatrice was an active
member of Templo Lirio de Los Valles for 40 years.
She will be remembered for her unconditional love for her children and grandchildren. Beatrice
was loved by all who knew her. Her hobbies included crocheting, cooking, embroidery, but
above all loved participating in church activities.
She is now reunited with her beloved husband in the heavenly kingdom of God.
She is survived by her children: Rosie Martinez, Rogacion (Sixto) Nieto, Irene (Eduardo) Garza,
Reynaldo (Dolores) Garay Jr., Lydia Maldonado, Linda (Michael) Nichols, Esther (Juan)
Elizondo, Emily (Ronald) Roberts; sister Josephine Gomez; numerous grandchildren, great
grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
It is with heavy hearts and tears in our eyes that we lay her down to rest and say our last
goodbyes.
