Beatrice Hall passed away early Thursday morning, April 4, 2013 after a valiant struggle with cancer. She was born in Schulenburg TX to Emil and Angelina Pratka and spent her childhood there with 3 brothers, 4 sisters and many friends and relatives. She attended college in San Marcos TX then worked at Kelly Field in San Antonio during WWII. There she met the handsome lieutenant, Harlan Hall. They were married for 53 years. Bea & Harlan traveled the world and made lasting friends everywhere. Bea was vivacious and fun. She loved to cook & was renowned for her homemade kolaches. She was also an expert seamstress, quilt maker, knitter and needlepoint artist. She loved children and while she had no grandchildren she loved as her own those of her friends and neighbors. The world will not be the same without her. She is survived by daughter Teresa Coleman and son-in-law Richard Coleman, son Christopher Hall and daughter-in-law Christina Hall. Please send contributions to Covenant House in lieu of flowers.
