

On March 31, 1959, a baby girl was born to Elijah Maxie and Mariah Latin in Shreveport, Louisiana. They named her Becky Latin. Becky went on to have many accomplishments in her lifetime.
She began by graduating Second Ward High School in the year of 1978, followed by attending beauty school and receiving her cosmetology license in the 80’s. Becky had a lot of hard work and dedication displayed through her work history also. She worked in the food service for Housman Elementary School, worked for many years for neuropsychiatric center and eventually retiring from Fort Bend ISD Transportation.
Amongst these achievements Becky also accomplished in love and marriage with over 40 years! For the rest of the world many won’t ever get to experience this, but maybe some of us will. If you do, always consider it a blessing and an accomplishment! Becky met Thomas Jackson in the year of 1980. They married November 15, 1983. She departed this life on December 16, 2023. She was preceded in death by her (parents) Elijah Maxie and Mariah Latin. (Daughter) Verliscia Rocquel Jackson. (Grandson) Thomas R. Simmons.

A visitation for Becky will be held Saturday, December 23, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Paradise Funeral Home, Inc, 10401 West Montgomery, Houston, TX 77088, followed by a funeral service from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
