Bennie J. Agee, Sr., 78, loving son, devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend passed away peacefully on Saturday morning, July 11, 2015, in Katy, Texas. Bennie was born September 1, 1936, in Sugar Land, Texas.
Bennie’s life was defined by his faith and his family. He knew the Bible, but more importantly, he knew Jesus and lived his life as a true and dedicated servant.
He is preceded in death by his parents Wessie and May Agee, and his wife Loyce Agee. He is survived by his son, Ben Agee, Jr. and wife Dawn; daughter Mechelle Maynes and husband Dana; daughter, Jeanne Harrison and husband David; grandchildren Nicholas Maynes, Heather Harrison and Benjamin Harrison; brother Wessie Agee, Jr. and wife Loretta, along with numerous other relatives and friends.
Visitation is scheduled for 1:00 pm on Thursday, July 16, with the funeral service following at 2:00 pm at Forest Park Westheimer Funeral Home (12800 Westheimer, just west of Dairy Ashford).
