She was born on the 28th of August 1919, in Houston. Dede was a resident of Houston until moving to Tyler, Texas in 2002.
She is preceded in death by her first husband, Clarence M. “Bubba” Malone Jr.; and her second husband, Perry B. Menking. She is survived by her children: son, John Malone and wife Bette; daughter, Martha Key and husband Randy; grandchildren, Meg Malone, Carter and Brooke Malone, Will and Suzie Key, Caroline and Marla Coffee-Key, Justin Malone, Kendal Malone; and her great-granddaughter, Gracie Key.
The family will gather for a private interment at Glenwood Cemetery in Houston.
Friends are invited to greet the family during a reception to be held from three o’clock until five o’clock in the afternoon on Thursday, the 4th of May at the Houston Country Club, 1 Potomac Drive in Houston.
In lieu of customary remembrances, memorial contributions in memory of Dede may be directed to the charity of one’s choice.
Dede, Mother and Gran, brought joy and love to everyone who knew and loved her.
