Bernadette Vincent Hsieh, 93, of Houston, passed away on October 11, 2025 in Houston, Texas.
Bernadette was born in Talence, France to Georges & Reine Vincent on October 27, 1931. She went to school in Bordeaux, graduating from business school at the top of her class. She married John Shan Tung Hsieh on June 2nd, 1958 in Clichy-La-Garenne. John Hsieh truly was the love of her life and her true soulmate.
Bernadette is preceded in death by her husband, John Hsieh and sister, Chantal Marchand. Bernadette is survived by her sons, Patrick (Mindy) Hsieh and Edouard Hsieh; brothers. Jacques Vincent and Philippe Vincent; sisters Monique Vincent,
Genevieve Henry, Françoise Audiau, and Roselyne Iratchet; six grand children and six great grand children.
Bernadette was one of the earliest female pilots, a champion typist and stenographer, winning many competitions. She loved languages, piano, ballet and anything beautiful. Her comforting hand will be missed.
She was laid to rest on October 30th, 2025 by her two sons. She will always be remembered as the very energetic, passionate, and ever positive wife and mother. Well wishers can make a donation in her name to the Covenant House, just one of the many charities she supported.
